Xiyuan Tan

A client was hoping to use some illustrations of the 56 ethnic groups of China as smartphone wallpaper images. I was very interested in this area and these cartoon character designs are what I have made for this comission. Considering the art style preferences of Chinese audiences, I used the manga/anime style. Drawing these characters was a great way of learning ethnic minority cultures. Now I can finally memorise the names of all the ethnic groups!
